Jeff Halbert is an accomplished veteran of the retail real estate industry with extensive public and private real estate leadership experience. His broad skill set covers the gamut of retail real estate ranging from free-standing single tenant buildings to grocery-anchored centers. He has a deep understanding of both the landlord and tenant sides of the business that he cultivated in key leadership roles with both national retailers and landlords.
His industry relationships cross all lines and have been key to his longstanding success. His combined retail developer, city planning, real estate investor and broker background rounds out the tools with which he has consummated hundreds of complex commercial real estate transactions over thirty years.
As founder and Manager of Blackpoint Capital Management, founder and manager of Blackpoint Properties (a retail development company) and founder and President of Keystone Real Estate Advisors (a retail brokerage company), Jeff is responsible for leading, formulating and executing his companies core retail development, investment and brokerage strategies and driving results. This includes all facets of the real estate transaction cycle – from sourcing opportunities & acquisitions, to analyzing and underwriting, to negotiating terms, to financing, to ground up development, to property management and to closing & dispositions.
